Bank of America Faces Major Online Banking Outage Amid Customer Complaints

Bank of America customers are experiencing significant problems with online and mobile banking services.

According to Downdetector, a website monitoring service, tens of thousands of users have reported severe disruptions, with many claiming their account balances have inexplicably dropped to zero.

In addition, there has been a noticeable increase in reports of issues at JPMorgan Chase and Wells Fargo, with problems starting around noon EST.

Over 100 customers from these banks have also indicated difficulties logging into their accounts and using banking applications.

Bank of America has acknowledged the service disruptions but has not specified the cause of the outage. The bank stated,

“Some clients are experiencing an issue accessing their accounts and balance information today. These issues are being addressed and have largely been resolved. We apologize for any inconvenience.”
