Binance Integrates USDT on TON

Binance has recently integrated Tether (USDT) onto the Toncoin (TON), enabling users to deposit and withdraw using Telegram's associated blockchain.

The move follows a joint announcement by Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino and Telegram CEO Pavel Durov at the TOKEN2049 conference on April 19, signaling the issuance of USDT on TON.

Already, USDT supply on TON has surpassed $580 million, making TON the sixth largest blockchain for USDT, after TRON, Ethereum, and Solana.

Looking ahead, Tether and TON plan to roll out over 100 integrations globally to foster adoption of both the stablecoin and Telegram’s blockchain.

Despite this, Toncoin itself, the native token of TON, remains absent from Binance’s spot market. Currently, Toncoin is only available on Binance’s derivatives platform, alongside USDT transactions on the TON network.

Binance has also listed Notcoin (NOT), a significant asset in the ecosystem, raising questions about when Toncoin will make its debut on the spot market.
