The book "Softwar," written by U.S. Space Force major Jason Lowery, has gained popularity on Amazon for its unique take on Bitcoin.
In the book, Lowery argues that Bitcoin has the potential as a military-grade solution for securing information rather than just its current use as a monetary network.
He posits that the Proof-of-Work (PoW) system underlying Bitcoin transaction verification can be leveraged by military powers to impose restrictions on bad actors through physical work in the form of crunching numbers.
The book draws on knowledge from various fields, such as anthropology and computer science, to establish and explore Lowery’s “Power Projection Theory.”
The acknowledgments section gives the nod to some of Bitcoin’s most faithful, including MicroStrategy’s Michael Saylor and Peter McCormack.
