Bitcoin: LunarCrush Sends BTC Bounty to the Lunar Surface
As an incentive for interplanetary exploration, a Bitcoin bounty worth $1.7 million is going to be sent to the moon.
LunarCrush, a company specializing in social intelligence for the cryptocurrency ecosystem, has announced its plan to send 62 Bitcoins (BTC) to the moon, valued at approximately $1.76 million at the time of writing.
The Bitcoin bounty, named Nakamoto_1, will only be accessible to the first person who reaches the moon and obtains the private key for a crypto wallet engraved on the Lunar Outpost MAPP Rover, which will be launched into space later this year.
LunarCrush partnered with Lunar Outpost, animation studio Golden Wolf, and Bitcoin developer tools company Hiro to fund the project by selling an NFT collection.
