Charles Hoskinson Addresses Cardano Wallet Glitch Amidst Network Surge
Cardano's founder, Charles Hoskinson, recently addressed concerns surrounding the functionality of Nami, the network's new wallet, citing ongoing investigations into glitches.
According to Hoskinson, there’s a hitch in Nami’s ADAHandles implementation, causing delays when users input handles like “$NFT” and “$NFTs.”
To address this, ADAHandles has been temporarily disabled in Nami until a fix is deployed. Hoskinson assured users that this issue is isolated to Nami and does not affect Lace users.
Nami was acquired by Cardano to strengthen its Lace wallet and drive wider network adoption. However, Hoskinson acknowledged that migrating processes take time, and bugs like this are expected.
The Nami Wallet team confirmed the temporary suspension of ADAHandles and expressed sympathy for affected users. Meanwhile, ADAHandles emphasized that unlike Nami, wallets like Lace adhere to Verified Integration steps to avoid such issues.

Coinciding with these developments, Cardano has witnessed increased network activity, with notable rises in daily active addresses, transaction volume, and transactions from whales over the past month.
This uptick in activity aligns with a bullish run for Cardano’s ADA token, which has surged by over 40% in the past month, nearing $0.80. However, there has been a slight correction in the last 24 hours, with a increase of 8% to $0.728.
