Coinbase Teams Up with NBA Team for Exclusive Blockchain Fan Experiences

Coinbase has become the official crypto and blockchain partner for the Golden State Warriors and the Chase Center, the NBA team's home court.

This collaboration will showcase Coinbase’s brand prominently at the arena and during broadcasts.

As part of the deal, Coinbase will offer Warriors fans special on-chain experiences, exclusive merchandise, and perks for signing up on the platform.

Attendees at the Warriors’ games against the Memphis Grizzlies on January 4 and the Milwaukee Bucks on March 20 will also receive Warriors-themed digital and physical giveaways through Coinbase.

Warriors’ Chief Commercial Officer Mike Kitts highlighted the team’s enthusiasm for using blockchain to deepen fan engagement, whether in-stadium or remotely. Previously, the Warriors had partnered with FTX, but the arrangement ended after FTX’s 2022 bankruptcy.

Now, both the Warriors and Stephen Curry face a lawsuit accusing them of misleading promotion related to the defunct exchange.
