Crypto Whales Make Waves: $750 Million in Bitcoin and Ethereum Transferred in a Day
At the start of a new month, there has been significant movement among crypto whales. They have transferred $748 million worth of Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) in less than 24 hours.
These whales have moved their crypto assets to and from exchanges, which leaves open the possibility of selling them on the market.
Whale Alert, an on-chain address tracker, reported the largest transaction, which moved 9,756 BTC valued at $231.44 million between two unknown wallets. Astonishingly, the transaction cost only $9.18 in fees.
Another whale moved 1,999 BTC valued at $47.05 million from Gemini exchange to an unidentified wallet. Similarly, a third whale transferred 920 BTC worth $21.29 million from an unknown wallet to Bitfinex exchange, paying only $10 to do so.
On the other hand, Ethereum whales transferred 272,978 ETH worth $448.45 million in just one day.

One of these whales moved 237,979 ETH worth $390.17 million from an unknown wallet to another unknown wallet, and they paid less than $5 in fees. Another Ethereum whale transferred 34,999 ETH worth $58.28 million from Gemini to an unidentified wallet and paid approximately $3 in fees.
As of writing, BTC is trading at $23,514, and ETH is worth $1,649.
