Laut einem von Bitmex Research hervorgehobenen UK High Court Case Tracker hat Wright die Klage am 10. Oktober als „litigant in person“ eingereicht, was bedeutet, dass er ohne Anwalt vorgeht.
Die Klage nennt Bitcoin Core, die Software, die mit dem Bitcoin-Netzwerk verbunden ist, und Square Up Europe Ltd, bekannt für seine Zahlungslösungen, aber Details zu den spezifischen Ansprüchen des Falles werden nicht bekannt gegeben.
