Deutsche Bundesbank Joins Global Initiative to Shape Tokenized Asset Standards

The Deutsche Bundesbank has joined Project Guardian, a Singapore-led initiative aimed at reshaping global capital markets through asset tokenization.

Launched by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) in 2022, the project brings together financial institutions and regulators to promote liquidity and establish standards for tokenized assets.

The Bundesbank’s participation aligns with Europe’s focus on blockchain and distributed ledger technology (DLT).

By joining the project, it seeks to contribute to cross-border collaboration, influence digital asset regulation, and help develop interoperable blockchain platforms for managing tokenized assets.
