Elon Musk Plans to Construct a Supercomputer for AI Startup

Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk plans to construct a supercomputer for xAI, a startup focused on artificial intelligence.
The upcoming iteration of Grok, Musk’s contentious rival to ChatGPT, is anticipated to utilize this supercomputer. This development follows xAI’s introduction of Grok-1.5V, an advanced AI model capable of operating in both visual and verbal modes.
Reports suggest that the supercomputer project may involve collaboration with technology behemoth Oracle. In the meantime xAI is close to finalizing a new funding round of $6 billion, with prominent investors like Andreessen Horowitz and Sequoia Capital participating.
Musk aims to amass sufficient funding to compete with the likes of OpenAI, presently valued at $80 billion, and other emerging AI entities like Anthropic.
