Ethereum is Going to Surpass Bitcoin, According to Real Vision’s Raoul Pal
Raoul Pal, a former executive at Goldman Sachs, holds the belief that Ethereum (ETH) stands positioned to surpass Bitcoin (BTC) in the forthcoming weeks and months.
He suggests a shift in investor capital within the crypto market, aiming for higher gains.
Pal draws a comparison between Ethereum’s potential and the tendency of lower-rated junk bonds outperforming higher-rated treasuries during capital rotations. He anticipates Ethereum to “massively outperform” Bitcoin.
Pal further speculates that the potential approval of a spot Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) could have a positive impact on Ethereum. He expects investors, upon realizing gains in BTC, to reinvest in ETH, thereby stimulating the ETH ecosystem.

Regarding Bitcoin, Pal analogizes its potential price action to that of its 2015 bull market, anticipating a significant upward surge without major corrections, differing from the patterns seen in the 2019-2021 period.
He dismisses the expectation of a 50% collapse similar to past corrections, instead forecasting corrections likely to be more sideways, ranging approximately between 20% to 30%. Pal extrapolates that if the current market cycle mirrors the previous one, the upward trajectory might continue until the end of 2025.
