The upcoming feature seems to be a non-custodial crypto wallet that will offer users complete control of their funds and private keys.
Microsoft stated that they won’t have access to the user’s password or recovery key. The wallet will be embedded in Edge, making it easy to use without any additional extensions.
The screenshots also suggest that users will be able to buy cryptocurrency assets through Coinbase and MoonPay, and browse NFT marketplaces.
Moreover, users can choose between the built-in Edge wallet or an extension wallet for managing their assets.
