Here’s When the Verdict for Binance’s Tax Evasion Trial Is Scheduled

Binance, a major cryptocurrency platform, faces accusations of failing to register with Nigeria’s Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) and four counts of tax evasion.
The High Court in Abuja has set October 11 as the date for the verdict in Binance’s tax evasion trial.
During a recent court session on July 12, Binance’s lawyer, Ayodele Omotilewa, pleaded not guilty to all charges before Judge Emeka Nwite.

Omotilewa argued for the charges to be dismissed, similar to the previous dismissal of charges against Binance executives Tigran Gambaryan and Nadeem Anjarwalla in June.
Following the appointment of a Nigerian representative by Binance to oversee local operations, the Federal High Court in Abuja cleared Gambaryan and Anjarwalla of tax evasion charges.
The court has adjourned the case until October, allowing time for both the defense and prosecution to prepare their cases and review evidence.
