July Sees $755 Million in Crypto Tokens Unlocked Across 40 Projects
Cryptocurrency tokens worth $755 million are set to become available in July as the vesting periods for over 40 projects conclude.
Vesting periods prevent early investors and team members from immediately selling their tokens, aiming to stabilize prices during a project’s early stages.
According to Token Unlocks, AltLayer (ALT) and Xai (XAI) are among the projects with the largest token unlocks this month.
AltLayer will unlock 684 million ALT tokens valued at approximately $125 million on July 25, allocated to its team, investors, and ecosystem. Similarly, Xai will release tokens worth $93 million on July 9.

Other notable releases include Aptos (APT), which will unlock 11.31 million tokens worth $77 million, continuing its scheduled token releases after significant drops in token price in recent months.
Arbitrum (ARB) will release $75 million in tokens on July 16, following previous releases totaling billions of dollars earlier this year.
Projects like Optimism, Sui, Immutable, and Starknet are also scheduled to unlock substantial amounts of tokens in July, continuing their distribution to team members, advisers, and investors.
