Bitcoin Analysis: The Resistance That Could Decide the Next Move

Bitcoin is holding a key support level and testing an important resistance zone, while investors remain cautious due to uncertainty surrounding a potential agreement between the United States and Iran.
Summary:
- Bitcoin is holding support at the 0.382 Fibonacci level.
- The price moved above the 50 SMA.
- The market is testing an important resistance level.
- RSI remains around the neutral boundary.
Bitcoin managed to hold support at the 0.382 Fibonacci level ($74,240), which for now remains the main zone from which the market is attempting a recovery. After several volatile sessions, the price has also moved above the 50-day Simple Moving Average (SMA) – a signal that short-term selling pressure is gradually beginning to weaken.

However, the market has still not fully exited the risk zone. At the moment, Bitcoin is struggling with a new resistance around the 0.236 Fibonacci level ($77,640), which is becoming the next major test for the bulls.
That is exactly why the current daily close is especially important. A successful breakout and hold above this zone could open the path toward the next major resistance at the 200 SMA (near $80,000), which remains one of the most closely watched long-term technical levels.

RSI Remains at a Key Boundary
The RSI indicator is currently moving around 50 – a zone that often separates bearish from bullish momentum.
A breakout above this boundary would be an important signal that momentum is beginning to shift back in favor of buyers. For now, however, the market has still not provided clear confirmation.
Based on this data, it can be concluded that investor sentiment is gradually improving, but caution continues to dominate.
The reason comes from recent news suggesting that the United States and Iran may once again be on the verge of a potential agreement. Such news traditionally reduces tension in global markets and supports riskier assets, including the crypto market.
However, investors remain cautious, since similar signals have appeared multiple times over the past few months without any real deal being reached. That is why the sector is still reacting more moderately for now and waiting for more concrete developments before moving in a clearer direction.
