Michael Saylor Predicts Bitcoin Could Hit $13 Million by 2045
MicroStrategy’s Michael Saylor has made a striking prediction that Bitcoin could reach $13 million by 2045.
Speaking at the Bitcoin 2024 Conference, Saylor also suggested that, under optimal conditions, BTC might hit $49 million within the same timeframe. His forecasts have generated significant buzz amid a crypto market rally.
Saylor outlined that while Bitcoin’s annual growth rate might decrease from 55% to 20% by 2045, it would still push the cryptocurrency’s value to impressive heights. He remains bullish on Bitcoin, with his company, MicroStrategy, holding a substantial amount of BTC, reflecting his confidence in its long-term potential.

In addition to his primary forecast, Saylor presented a less optimistic scenario where Bitcoin could be valued at $3 million, representing 2% of global wealth. Despite the varied predictions, he emphasized Bitcoin’s significant growth potential and its importance in the global economy.
Currently, Bitcoin has surged past $68,000, driven by positive sentiment around the Bitcoin Conference and the anticipated appearance of former President Donald Trump. Market confidence remains strong, as indicated by a nearly 3% rise in Bitcoin Futures Open Interest, despite a 20% decline in trading volume to $31.18 million from the previous day.
Saylor’s company, MicroStrategy, has acquired 226,331 Bitcoin over the past four years, now worth about $15 billion, significantly more than the purchase price, highlighting his belief in Bitcoin’s enduring value.
