Microsoft Blames EU Deal for IT Meltdown

This arrangement, the company suggests, may have exposed critical vulnerabilities.

The IT crash, which affected 8.5 million Windows systems globally and disrupted various sectors, was linked to an issue with a CrowdStrike update.

Despite concerns, CrowdStrike assured users that the problem was resolved and not caused by a cyberattack.

In response, blockchain proponents pointed out the benefits of decentralized systems.

Jameson Lopp from Casa highlighted Bitcoin’s stability due to its non-automatic update approach, while Senator Cynthia Lummis praised Bitcoin’s robustness compared to centralized systems, which are more prone to single points of failure.
