Opera Integrates MultiversX for Next-Level Web3
MultiversX, a blockchain platform with a focus on the Metaverse, has announced a partnership with Opera, a crypto browser, to integrate its growing ecosystem seamlessly.
Through this collaboration, Opera users can explore the decentralized internet using the MultiversX network directly within the browser’s interface.
They can also engage in transactions using MultiversX’s native tokens, EGLD or ESDT, connect with MultiversX-based non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and access decentralized applications built on the network.
Beniamin Mincu, the CEO of MultiversX, explained that integrating with Opera provides users with a user-friendly and accessible entry point into the Web3 ecosystem. By leveraging the potential of Web3 in a familiar and intuitive manner, MultiversX aims to simplify the onboarding process for individuals looking to explore the world of Web3 and blockchain assets.
The integration also enables users to participate in the new digital economy without requiring an in-depth understanding of the underlying complexities.

The integration of MultiversX will be available on Opera’s desktop browser as well as its Android experience, granting users access to MultiversX-based websites.
The primary goal of MultiversX is to enhance Web3’s interoperability and facilitate a user-friendly experience for newcomers. In pursuit of this objective, MultiversX launched its Web3 “super app” called xPortal in February, which serves as an all-in-one platform for users to access decentralized applications and metaverses.
Additionally, MultiversX recently partnered with Tencent, the Chinese technology company responsible for the popular messaging app WeChat, to support the development of Tencent’s Web3 strategy.
