Raoul Pal Invests Heavily in Solana, Reveals Cryptocurrency Portfolio Allocation
Renowned financial analyst Raoul Pal, formerly associated with Goldman Sachs, recently shared insights into his investment strategy, shedding light on his substantial stake in Solana (SOL).
Pal disclosed during a discussion on the Bankless YouTube channel that a significant portion of his cryptocurrency portfolio, approximately 80%, is allocated to Solana (SOL), the native token of a leading layer-1 blockchain.
Diversification is evident in the remaining holdings, which include NFTs, digital collectibles, and investments in a digital assets-focused fund.
Additionally, I’ve diversified a portion of my portfolio into a hedge fund managed by Exponential Age Asset Management.

A small fraction, roughly 1%, is allocated to speculative assets such as Dogecoin and other memecoins. It’s essential to note that speculative assets represent only 1% of my total portfolio, with Solana dominating at 80%.”
Pal’s decision to heavily invest in Solana stems from his analysis of the Solana/Ethereum chart, which displayed significant promise in 2022.
This analysis prompted him to make a substantial commitment to Solana, reminiscent of his earlier endorsement of Ethereum in September 2020.
