Robinhood Launches iOS Crypto Wallet
Robinhood, a popular trading platform, has launched its new Web3-enabled crypto wallet on Apple's mobile operating system.
According to a blog post, Robinhood is bringing support for a selection of prominent altcoins with this development.
The wallet, which has been in beta since last year, is now available to all iOS users worldwide, with plans to make it compatible with the Android operating system later this year.

In addition to the widely known digital assets such as Ethereum (ETH) and Solana (SOL), the wallet also supports Shiba Inu (SHIB), layer-2 scaling solution Polygon (MATIC), Uniswap (UNI), and stablecoin USD Coin (USDC).
Robinhood’s general manager for crypto, Johann Kerbat, explained that the company’s decision to add these new coins was based on feedback from beta testers.

The users were pleased with how accessible and user-friendly the app was. They particularly appreciated the ability to self-custody their digital assets and swap with no network fees on Polygon.
They also requested access to more coins on more chains, which is why Robinhood added support for Ethereum. The company aims to support even more tokens and release a Web3 browser in the near future.
