SunPump’s Rapid Success Drives Major Revenue Surge on Tron Blockchain
SunPump, a new memecoin creator on the Tron blockchain, has quickly generated over $1.1 million in revenue within just 11 days of its launch.
Backed by Justin Sun, the platform has amassed 10 million TRX (around $1.5 million) since its debut on August 9
August 20 marked SunPump’s highest revenue day, bringing in nearly 2.78 million TRX (approximately $400,000) and creating over 6,000 new memecoins. On that day, SunPump faced a temporary outage due to overwhelming traffic, but developers quickly restored service within an hour.
Tron’s liquidity has surged since SunPump’s launch, aided by a $10 million boost from Sun’s Meme Ecosystem Boost Incentive Program. Additionally, Tether minted another billion USDT tokens on Tron on August 20, further increasing the platform’s activity.

In the past 24 hours, Tron generated $2.17 million in revenue, more than doubling the previous day’s earnings of $1.06 million, as reported by DefiLlama.
While some remain skeptical of memecoins’ long-term value, pointing to declining trading volumes on Solana and concerns over sustainability, Justin Sun remains optimistic. He believes that the success of these tokens is driven by community support and fair launches. Despite debates over their longevity, others in the industry see memecoins as a rapidly growing sector in the crypto world.
