Telegram CEO Commits to Long-Term Investment in New Crypto Project
Telegram’s CEO, Pavel Durov, has shown strong support for the MAJOR token by committing to hold 1% of its total supply for the next decade.
In a post shared on his Telegram channel on November 28, Durov expressed his belief in the token’s potential, noting its seamless integration within Telegram’s ecosystem and its growing community. He also revealed that Major’s developer, Roxman, donated the 1% token share to Durov as a sign of confidence in his leadership and long-term vision for the project.
The MAJOR mini app has quickly become one of the most successful within Telegram’s platform, generating $10 million in revenue and attracting 70 million users in just five months. Durov praised the app’s success, which highlights its capacity to drive user engagement and harness the power of Telegram’s ecosystem. Major plans to expand further, with exciting new features such as NFT rentals, digital IDs, and a gaming hub, all designed to enhance the user experience and continue growing its community.

In addition to his personal token commitment, Durov confirmed that the MAJOR token is preparing for a major listing across six leading cryptocurrency exchanges. While the official listings are still pending, its futures have already gone live on OKX, trading at $1.43.
