Terra Classic Unleashes Upgrade, LUNC and USTC Prices Skyrocket
The Terra Luna Classic community is actively engaged in crucial chain upgrades, aiming to propel Terra Classic towards greater utility and drive up the prices of Classic ecosystem tokens LUNC and USTC.
Following the successful upgrade of Testnet rebel-2 to the new release candidate v2.4.0 of the terrad client, proposed changes by renowned developer Till “fragwuerdig” Ziegler are gaining traction. These upgrades, which include bolstered security and significant feature introductions, align with proposals from Genuine Labs and are part of a broader development narrative.
Key enhancements outlined in Till’s proposal include the introduction of IBC-Hooks and Package-Forward-Middleware (PFM), as well as the implementation of E2E and Interchain Testing Suite.
These upgrades are expected to facilitate the integration of dApps, notably Enterprise DAO, and streamline the creation, management, and expansion of DAOs within Cosmos. Pending approval from validators and the community, the Terra Luna Classic chain will undergo temporary cessation at a predetermined block height.
The proposed upgrades have undergone rigorous integration testing by Genuine Labs, with a rehearsal upgrade to v2.4.0 conducted on the rebel-2 testnet.
