Terra Luna Classic Delays Tax Upgrade

Terra Luna Classic Delays Tax Upgrade

Developers of Terra Luna Classic (LUNC) have announced a delay in their tax distribution upgrade.

The latest release, v3.1.3, introduces modifications to reward allocation, shifting from short-term to long-term rewards by rerouting community pool funds from tax burns to the Oracle Pool (OP). The upgrade also includes technical fixes to address memory leak issues.

Developer Till Z, known in the LUNC community as Fragwuerdig, has led this update alongside other contributors.

The blockchain is set to pause at block height 19108180 on July 29, 2024, to accommodate the changes. Validators and infrastructure providers will need to update their systems accordingly.

Meanwhile, LUNC has experienced a notable price surge of over 27% this week, recovering from recent losses. The token is currently valued at $0.00009066, with recent fluctuations between $0.00008865 and $0.00009411.

Market analysis suggests a possible rise above the $0.0001 resistance level, driven by a bullish trend in trading activity.
