FOX Business journalist Eleanor Terrett has reported that while Trump has frequently highlighted Dimon as his preferred choice, some insiders believe Fink could still be in consideration due to his longstanding relationship with Trump.
BlackRock has managed Trump’s investments for years, and he has previously invested in BlackRock’s funds.
Trump’s recent selection of pro-Bitcoin JD Vance as his vice-presidential running mate and his positive relationship with BlackRock may indicate that Fink, a known Bitcoin supporter, could be a serious contender for the Treasury role.
