Euroclear, a leading post-trade group, has acquired a stake in Iznes, a pan-European blockchain network operating within the asset management sector.
The financial details of the transaction remain undisclosed.
This investment aligns with Euroclear’s strategy of expanding its presence in the blockchain and digital technology space, following previous acquisitions such as the digital fund distribution platform MFEX in 2021 and the private funds digital marketplace Goji last year.
The move underscores Euroclear’s commitment to leveraging blockchain technology to enhance its capabilities and ensure its relevance in the evolving financial landscape.
