The sign’s acquisition was attributed to an individual known by the online moniker Squirrekkywrath, as disclosed in a tweet originating from PubKey.
Despite this revelation, the identity and background of the sign’s new owner remain shrouded in mystery, prompting speculation within the cryptocurrency community.

Christian Langalis, the individual responsible for brandishing the ‘Buy Bitcoin’ sign during the 2017 House Financial Services hearing, had earlier indicated that the proceeds from the auction would be channeled towards his startup venture, Tirrel Corp.
