ZkSync Unveils a New Community-Driven Governance Model

ZkSync, a Layer 2 network on Ethereum developed by Matter Labs, has unveiled a new community-led governance model named ZK Nation.

Described as a collective united in guiding, safeguarding, and advancing the zkSync protocol, ZK Nation aims to bolster decentralization guarantees.

The initiative aligns with the network’s upcoming token generation event and airdrop, set to enhance decentralization.

The introduction of this governance framework empowers community members to propose and vote on protocol enhancements and network adjustments.

ZK Nation comprises three on-chain entities: the Token Assembly, the Security Council, and the Guardians.
