Bitcoinbestand von MicroStrategy wächst mit dem jüngsten Kauf bis zu 140.000 Münzen
MicroStrategy, ein Unternehmen für Business Analytics, hat bekannt gegeben, dass es zwischen dem 24. März und dem 4. April weitere 1.045 Bitcoins für rund 29,3 Millionen Dollar gekauft hat.
Der Durchschnittspreis pro Coin lag bei 28,016 Dollar, wie aus einem Bericht an die US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) hervorgeht.
MicroStrategy besitzt nun satte 140.000 Bitcoins, die zu einem Gesamtkaufpreis von rund 4,17 Milliarden Dollar erworben wurden.
Der durchschnittliche Kaufpreis pro Bitcoin liegt nun bei $29,803. Obwohl die Kryptowährung an der Bitstamp-Börse mit $28,564 gehandelt wird, hat MicroStrategy noch nicht die Gewinnzone erreicht, nachdem das Unternehmen im Jahr 2022 aufgrund des Bärenmarktes erhebliche Verluste erlitten hat.
Das Unternehmen hat Ende März auch einen Bitcoin-Kauf im Wert von 161 Millionen Dollar für 6.455 Token bekannt gegeben.
MicroStrategy war seit seiner ersten Investition im August 2020 ein wichtiger Akteur bei der Einführung von Bitcoin in Unternehmen.
Es hält nun die größte Menge an digitalen Vermögenswerten unter allen Unternehmen.
